It all started in 1944, when the Persians Armando and his wife Enrica Marsili said Sora Richetta, undertook the restaurant business in the San Lorenzo district of Rome. In 1950 was born on Restaurant Armando, who has maintained the same quality thanks to the management of the daughters Carla and Patricia Persians: acceptance, authenticity and exquisiteness of the products, the originality in the preparation of the dishes.
Armando is now one of the most typical restaurants in the capital for the traditional Roman cuisine, but it is a point of reference for the national cuisine.
In 1996, the City of Rome has issued a certificate of quality and in 2002 the Lazio Region has issued the Certificate Restaurant typical Roman cuisine.
The kitchen of “Armando” you can taste the traditional Roman dishes made of Amatriciana, Carbonara, Grice, cheese and pepper sauce and noodles tail.
You will find fresh fish specialties, like clams ragu and porcini mushrooms or truffles, noodles shrimp, zucchini and tomatoes, baked turbot with potatoes and tomatoes, grilled swordfish or baked and many others.
